Why Tribal Hearts exists

When a tribal family looks for a match, the first questions are not only about age and work. Which tribe? Which sub-tribe? Which clan, and do the family's rules allow the marriage? Families have always answered these through relatives and people they trust. We built Tribal Hearts so that the same questions can be answered on a phone, in Hindi or English, without leaving out what the family cares about.

Every profile carries the member's tribe, sub-tribe, clan and surname, picked from lists of 386 tribes, 1,053 sub-tribes, 1,222 clans and 3,356 surnames built from the 2011 Census and community research. The daily shortlist is picked for your tribe, state and preferences.

We also believe two people should talk before anyone decides anything. Tribal Hearts starts with a conversation. Marriage happens only if both of you choose it.

What we promise members

• A badge means a person checked. Every Verified badge means someone on our team looked at that member's government ID and caste certificate. No machine makes the decision.
• Money never buys a badge. Premium is a plan, not a badge. Verification is free, and your badge stays when a plan ends.
• Your documents stay private. Only our review team sees them. Other members never do, they are not used for matching, and they are deleted within 48 hours of the decision on your case.
• No made-up members. The in-app guide, Sakhi or Mitra, is always labelled as a guide and never pretends to be a member.
• Free to start. Joining, getting verified and chatting are free. Premium is an optional monthly plan.
• Your language. The app works in Hindi and English.

How we write about tribal culture

Our Hindi articles at Tribal facts describe marriage customs, clans, and the saga and dev systems of different tribes. Customs change from village to village and from clan to clan, so we follow a few rules:

• Every article lists its sources at the end.
• An article marked ✓ has been read and checked by a person from that community.
• A research draft that no one from the community has checked is not listed on this site and is not offered to search engines.
• If something is wrong or missing for your village or clan, write to admin@garibaitservices.com. We correct the article.

Our guides are written by our team. They explain how the app works and how to use it well and safely, and we update them when the app changes.
